Double Yellow Lines on Larchfield Rd and Mount Carmel Rd Junction

You may have noticed the new double yellow lines at the junction of Larchfield Road and Mount Carmel Road. This turn was becoming more and more dangerous due to the general increase in traffic through the area combined with the parking problem when football matches are taking place. The Residents’ Association put in a request to DLR Traffic Section to look at making this turn safer. The Traffic Section and the Gardaí Advisory Group proposed the painting of double yellow lines in this location.
