Dundrum Main St. – Development Starting

Hammerson‘s (The British company that owns the Dundrum Town Centre, the old Dundrum Shopping Centre, and some of the Main Street, and who are currently working on plans for all this, see Imagine Dundrum.) have very recently submitted a planning application for the development of Ashgrove Terrace. This is the strip of run-down Edwardian(?) houses and shop fronts between the newsagents beside Deveney’s Off Licence on the cross-roads up to Roly Saul’s restaurant.

They have sent around artist’s impressions of how it will look from the Pembroke Square side (i.e. from the rear, the Town Centre side), where a new Fallon & Byrne will be located. But no images of how it will appear from the Sandyford Road side. The press release from Hammerson’s can be seen here.
