New Gaelscoil Sought for Goatstown/Stillorgan Area

A new primary school to serve the Goatstown/Stillorgan area is to open in September 2016. Gaelscoileanna Teo. are supporting an application by An Foras Pátrúnachta to have the new school designated as a multi-denominational Irish-medium school.

To ensure that the new school will be an Irish-medium school, An Foras Pátrúnachta need to demonstrate the community’s support for their application which will be submitted to the Dept. on the 24th of March 2016. By completing the expression of interest form below (click on the link), parents can register their support for the proposed school. The expression of interest does not oblige parents to enroll their child in the school, nor does it guarantee that the child will be offered a place in the school.

The school will open in September. A temporary location will be announced by the Dept of Education over the coming weeks.
