Residents’ Association Sports Day!
We are planning to hold a sports / fun day in Rosemount field on the last Saturday of August. Further details (e.g. exact timings and sports events) are to be announced later, however it is expected that the sports day will start after lunch on the 26th of August and will run for a few hours.
Adults
Can you volunteer to help? If so, in what capacity (e.g. prepare the field in advance, administration on the day, supervise races, referee a soccer game, judge a long puck competition etc.)?
Kids
If your kids are interested in participating, can you let us know:
- How many?
- What age are they?
- What events would they like to participate in?
We are open to all suggestions, but here is a list to give you an idea:
- Races (60m, 100m, Longer Distance)
- Novelty Races (Egg & Spoon, Sack, Wheel Barrow, Three Legged etc)
- Penalty Shoot Out
- Long Puck
- Tug of War
- Soccer
- Rounders
We’d like to encourage everyone in our association’s area to participate, but we understand that some kids may be a bit shy. If they are and would like to bring a friend from outside the residents’ association area, that’s allowed! Also, if anyone is interested in a mini road competition (in any event) then let us know.
