Stillorgan Reservoir Upgrade Project – Have Your Say
The possiblity of a brand new park/public space in Stillorgan/Sandyford? This substantial piece of land will be completely re-landscaped and available for public use. Irish Water have launched a public consulation period, so if you have any ideas about what could be located in a disused and revamped reservoir, have your say now.
Irish Water have announced plans to spend €80 million upgrading Stillorgan Reservoir. The project is at pre-planning, public consultation stage. The 150 year old open air three reservoir complex provides drinking water for 200,000 people across south Dublin. The reservoir borders Sandyford Business district which employs thousands and is home to thousands more and is beside Stillorgan and Sandyford Luas stations.
Irish Water have launched a 6 week public consultation process and are hosting an information evening on Thursday, August 25th and Monday the 5th of September from 4pm to 8pm at Glenalbyn Sports Club, Glenalbyn Road, Stillorgan.
