Updates and Ideas
Spring Clean + Photos
We had originally scheduled this for Saturday April 25th, but we will have to postpone it. We’ll get back to you with a new date at some point in the future.
In the meantime, you can click here to see some lovely calming photos of the flowers in the area. I’m sure most of you have already spotted all the springtime floral displays while out on your daily constitutional. Thanks to the Tidy Districts Team, and the local grass-cutters for all their great work. The place looks beautiful.
By the way, if anyone wants to send in photos, please do, and we’ll put them on the website. (We did this with the Beast from the East, just over two years ago now. We got some great photos that time.)
Today is Daffodil Day. There are no collections on the street, but there are still ways to help. You can visit the Irish Cancer Society website, or you can text DAFFODIL to 50300 to donate €4.

Finally a beautiful piece from John O’Donohue
This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.
Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.
If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning.”
