World Cup Party – A Great Result!

We held a fantastic summer World Cup Party last Saturday afternoon down on the green in front of the shops. Suzanne and Marie did a truly magnificent job organising the event, and huge thanks go to them and their team of helpers and barbequers.

We had a soccer penalty shoot-out, some talented junior facepainters, a great bouncy castle, home-baked cakes and treats, some fancy barbequed burgers and hotdogs, a variety of cheeses, and the odd glass of wine to wash it all down with.

Check out the photos below. The observant among you will spot our classy new Residents’ Association red gazebo. We had been borrowing one from a kindly resident for so long that frankly, it had become embarrassing. Time to invest.
